We use bamboo and cork to create our lovely coaster set because bamboo is stronger and a natural substitute for wood and cork is soft and lightweight. Both are also environmentally-friendly and can easily be cut. 

Secondly, bamboo and cork coasters are fairly easy to clean. You can just hand wash it using warm water and a mild detergent. But do note to dry it instantly and not let it soak. Do not use a dishwasher to clean it.
